This beautiful oval olive wood soap dish instantly brings a warm, natural atmosphere to your bathroom and fits perfectly into my shop’s Nature Products and Wellbeing category.
Olive wood is very durable and, thanks to its naturally high oil content, highly resistant to moisture, making it ideal for damp spaces. To allow your soap to dry properly after use, the dish has practical drainage holes for the water to run off.
As these soap dishes are made entirely by hand, the measurements are approximate and may vary by 0,5 to 1 cm in exceptional cases.

Interesting facts and care instructions: The extremely hard wood comes from olive trees, some centuries old, that no longer bear fruit. Each dish is handmade in Germany by D.O.M. Die Olivenholz Manufaktur in Marxen. Its individual grain makes it a true one-of-a-kind piece, which is why the product images are for illustrative purposes only. Small natural knots or fine hairline cracks may occur and enhance the wood’s rustic charm, without affecting its everyday use.
The wood is untreated and unvarnished. To preserve its natural protection, you should occasionally rub the soap dish lightly with a little cooking oil, such as olive oil, for example. This nourishes the wood and brings its beautiful honey-yellow sheen back to life.

Not dishwasher safe. Do not soak in water, as moisture can cause cracking and warping.
Keep away from direct heat, sunlight, microwaves, and ovens, as the wood may dry out or ignite.
Do not use harsh cleaning agents or abrasives, as they may damage the wood's natural protective layer.
The wood is safe for food contact, but use sharp knives carefully to avoid damaging the surface.
Regularly treat the wood with food-safe oil, such as olive or linseed oil, to keep it supple and durable.
