Hello and welcome to my shop 🌱
My name is Andre, I am a trained gardener in landscaping and plants are my hobby, which I officially registered as a small business four years ago.
My selection of plants, seeds and other things that make life more interesting also reflects my hobby - a little bit of everything.
Why should you buy from me and not from the big garden center around the corner? My passion is reflected in my actions...
I mix my own substrate. I don't sell mass-produced products. All my offerings are only available in limited quantities. Therefore, my plants aren't growing in lifeless substrate that loses all its nutrients within two weeks of purchase. The substrate is formulated to meet the specific needs of each plant species. Furthermore, a large portion of my fertilization is based on organic, slow-release fertilizers.
I manage without chemical pesticides. My planting areas are clearly laid out. Treatment with natural beneficial insects, such as nematodes, lacewing larvae, and ladybugs, is more than sufficient for me, gentle on nature, and ultimately reflected in the quality of the plants and fruit that end up on your table. My garden definitely stirs up some emotions, especially among those who prefer things tidy and orderly. I allow room for a little "weeds," leaves, and deadwood. Beneficial insects in the wild are naturally and readily attracted to my garden, which ultimately saves me a lot of work throughout the season.
I'm always looking for ways to reduce my negative footprint on the planet. I experiment with plastic alternatives, recycle packaging, and advocate for the responsible treatment of our environment. Of course, I don't always succeed. But it's always worth exploring other options.
My plants come from here. My hands and eyes are involved with them almost daily. Furthermore, they don't have to travel a long way around to reach you.
And last but not least, advice and kind words are included free of charge. No question is out of place.
I hope you enjoy browsing my offers. Questions and suggestions are welcome.
