Often, it's the little gestures that bring the greatest joy. These round, flat soapstone worry stones are just the kind of thoughtful little gifts that show you care. They shine in vibrant, cheerful colors like red, blue, green, and yellow and radiate wonderfully positive energy.
What makes these talismans special is their double-sided design. One side features a classic green four-leaf clover, while the other bears the heartfelt wish “Good luck” in beautiful lettering. Each stone is shaped by hand from natural soapstone, gently rounded, and carefully painted. The unique texture of the natural material and the handcrafted process make every piece one of a kind.
Thanks to their flat, smooth shape, these stones feel especially comfortable in the hand and have a calming effect when you gently run your thumb over them. They make the perfect little gift to brighten someone’s day or offer a bit of support for a task ahead. The soapstone products come from Tabaka, Kenya, a village with around 10,000 residents, located about 25 km from Kisii. Soapstone (steatite) is a soft natural stone. The stones range in color from white and gray to yellow and reddish shades, sometimes with beautiful veining. The raw material is mined locally in quarries. The carvers are independent artists, each specializing in a particular product category. They use chisels, knives, scrapers, and sandpaper. The final sanding, washing, waxing, and polishing are usually done by women in the family. As each item is 100% handmade, variations in shape and color are to be expected.
